Raspberry

The raspberry is the fruit of a multitude of plant species in the genus Rubus of the rose family. Raspberries are an important commercial fruit crop, widely grown in all temperate regions of the world. They are a rich source of vitamin C, manganese, and dietary fiber. Research also indicates antioxidant and antiproliferative (chemopreventative) effects may be associated with the fruit.
